Currently, the following measurements are running on measurement.network:
Email-Security-Scans.org
Organization: MPI-INF, TU Wien, SBA Research
Contact: abuse@email-security-scans.org
Purpose: Self-test website for sending behavior of email setups.
Type: Based on self-signup of users.
Frequency: As often as users start a test.
Domains: email-security-scans.org
Networks:
IPv4: -
IPv6: -
Notes: This project is currently still running on addresses in AS59645.
Active DNS Measurements
Organization: MPI-INF
Contact: abuse@measurement.network
Purpose: Active DNS measurements to assess DNS IPv6 readiness and
test for DNS misconfigurations/inconsistencies.
Type: Active, against a large domain set (+200M domains) from CT logs
and zonefiles.
Frequency: Continuous scan, up to 200 qps (50 per node) per auth. NS.
Domains: dns-v6-scans.measurement.network
Networks:
IPv4: 141.39.220.48/29 (previously 141.39.220.88/29)
IPv6: 2a0d:8d04:a101::/48

Active DNS Measurements (DNSSEC Focus)
Organization: MPI-INF
Contact: abuse@measurement.network
Purpose: This project conducts large scale DNS measurements. You may
see increased DNS traffic originating from this network.
We’re scanning a large number of domain names to explore the
deployment of RFC 9615 Automatic DNSSEC Bootstrapping Using
Authenticated Signals from the Zone's Operator, and possible
misconfigurations thereof.
Type: Active, against a small domain set from top-lists (Alexa,
Tranco) (-+5M domains).
Frequency: Intermittent, up to 200 qps (50 per node) per auth. NS.
Domains: zone-ds.measurement.network
Networks:
IPv4: 141.39.221.80/28
IPv6: 2a0d:8d04:b503::/48

Artifact Evaluation Networks – Active Measurements
Currently Active Conferences:
PETS (See: https://petsymposium.org/artifacts.php)
ACSAC (See: https://acsac.org/2024/submissions/papers/artifacts/)
Contact: abuse@measurement.network
Purpose: Evaluation of research artifacts.
Type: Various, depending on reviewed work. All measurements are
replications of measurements previously cleared by an IRB.
Frequency: Irregular
